Case Study : Global Conference Event for HR Company
This Conference Event planned and managed by us was for a UK based Global Executive Recruitment organisation, whose network comprises of 132 offices in 32 countries. Every year, the client hosts their Global Conference in London, which brings together all the franchise owners, business partners and colleagues from this network.
The highlight of the conference was the unveiling of the clients new website and vision logo – the first brand change in 21 years.
The message to be conveyed was how logo symbolizes global reach, partnership and entrepreneurial spirit and the agenda over the 2 days was designed as such, that it promoted healthy interaction and boosted morale of all parties present.
The rest of the event agenda included workshops, presentations and sessions by established speakers from the Antal team. An interesting feature of the afternoon session was a motivational keynote speech by Raghunath Medge – the president of the Mumbai Dabbawala Association, a six sigma certified service. He described the management lessons that the Dabbawalas have gained over 120 years of their service; and how they keep themselves motivated.
A networking dinner with live music by a percussionist, sealed the first day of this conference.
On the second day, the president of the company, addressed the crowd about the year in review and the future strategy.
This was followed by a keynote speech about the characteristics of a good recruiter, and hiring mistakes to avoid.
The second day of the conference, too, had workshops and internal discussions .
The agenda took an interesting turn with a team building activity planned by us for the client – a Bollywood dance workshop hosted by our choreographers. The attendees were divided into groups and taught different Bollywood numbers which they performed after a fun hour of rehearsal. It was a refreshing change to see them loosening up and being in the moment, from the formal agenda.
The final event of this two day conference was the Global Awards and Gala Dinner hosted. There were 16 awards to be given out, including Key account of the Year, Truly International Office of the Year, The Antal Spirit Award and Chairman’s Award for Excellence, to name a few.
After this dinner, the whole team put their newly acquired Bollywood dancing skills to good use, as they danced the night away.
