The Brief
When INVIXIUM was preparing to introduce its biometric scanning technology to a select B2B audience in India, the launch needed to do more than simply present a new product.
It needed to make the technology feel significant.
The audience was deliberately intimate — a carefully selected group of business stakeholders, partners and decision-makers invited to Taj Santacruz, Mumbai. With a smaller audience, every element of the experience would be seen up close. The product presentation therefore had to feel considered, technically sophisticated and worthy of the technology being launched.
Pegasus Events was brought in to plan, produce and execute the launch from end to end.
Our approach was to build the entire experience around one central moment: the reveal of the biometric scanner.
The Idea: Turn the Product Launch Into a Performance
Rather than introduce the scanner through a conventional presentation followed by a product unveiling, we designed an immersive launch sequence using 3D projection mapping.
The objective was simple: use light, movement, sound and visual content to build anticipation before revealing the physical product.
Projection mapping allowed us to transform the launch environment into a dynamic visual canvas.
Instead of the audience merely watching a film on a screen, the content interacted with the physical structure in front of them, creating the illusion of depth, movement and transformation.
The product reveal became a piece of live visual storytelling.
Building the 3D Projection Mapping Experience
The content was developed using a two-layered visual approach.
Rather than treating the projection as one flat piece of content, different visual layers were designed to work together, creating additional depth and dimensionality in the sequence.
The layered content allowed different elements of the visual narrative to appear independently, overlap and interact with the physical environment.
As the sequence progressed, the projection moved from abstract technology-led visuals into increasingly product-focused content, ultimately leading the audience toward the reveal of the INVIXIUM biometric scanner.
This combination of physical staging and digital content created an experience where the product did not simply appear.
It emerged from the story being told around it.

Designing the Journey Before the Reveal
The experience began before guests entered the main event space.
We created dedicated product displays in the pre-function area of Taj Santacruz, allowing attendees to encounter the INVIXIUM brand and technology as soon as they arrived.
This served two purposes.
First, it created an immediate branded environment for the event.
Second, it allowed guests to explore the product in a physical setting before experiencing the more theatrical launch sequence inside.
The pre-function experience therefore acted as an introduction, while the projection-mapped reveal became the climax.
Together, they created a more complete product journey.
An Intimate B2B Audience
Unlike a large-scale consumer product launch, this event was designed for a small, carefully selected B2B audience.
That changed the way the experience had to be designed.
In a smaller room, audiences notice everything — content timing, projection alignment, lighting transitions, stage management and the quality of the physical production.
There is nowhere for poor execution to hide.
Our production team therefore coordinated the technical and show elements closely so that the projection mapping, content, lighting and reveal worked as one continuous sequence.
The result was a launch that felt far larger than the room in which it took place.

The Moment That Became the Event
The strongest indication of the audience’s reaction came immediately after the projection mapping sequence.
Guests began taking out their phones and recording the experience.
The response was strong enough that the sequence was run a second time, allowing the audience to experience — and capture — the product reveal again.
For a B2B technology launch, that reaction mattered.
The audience had not simply watched the presentation.
They wanted to record it.
The content had turned a corporate product demonstration into something people considered worth sharing.
That became one of the defining moments of the event.
What Pegasus Events Delivered
Pegasus Events managed the launch from planning through execution, bringing together the creative, technical and operational components required for the event.
Our scope included:
- End-to-end event planning and management
- Venue coordination at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai
- Event production and technical management
- Coordination of two-layer projection content
- Product reveal planning
- Stage and show-flow management

- On-ground production and event operations
Every component was designed around a single objective: make the technology the hero of the experience.
Why 3D Projection Mapping Worked for the INVIXIUM Launch
Technology products often present a particular challenge at launch events.
The engineering behind them may be sophisticated, but explaining specifications alone rarely creates an emotional response.
Projection mapping allowed us to convert that sophistication into something visual.
It helped communicate ideas such as technology, identity, security, precision and innovation without requiring the audience to absorb those ideas entirely through presentations or technical specifications.
More importantly, it created anticipation.
The audience knew they were there for a product launch, but the format allowed the product to be introduced as the conclusion of an experience rather than simply being placed on stage.
The Result
Check out the video here:
The INVIXIUM biometric scanner launch demonstrated how experiential technology can transform a B2B product launch.
A relatively intimate corporate gathering at Taj Santacruz became an immersive technology showcase through the combination of:
3D projection mapping, layered visual content, physical product displays and carefully choreographed show production.
The projection sequence became the standout moment of the evening and generated such a strong response from attendees that it was performed twice, with guests actively filming the experience on their phones.
For INVIXIUM, the launch created a memorable introduction to its biometric technology.
For the audience, it turned a product demonstration into a moment worth capturing.
And for Pegasus Events, it reflected a principle we bring to technology launches:
When the product represents innovation, the way it is introduced should feel innovative too.
